A common question asked in the track cycling industry is if your cockpit reach is UCI legal. We developed this handy pocket sized tool to check!

How to measure:

  1. Press the Reach Gauge firmly onto the axle nut.
  2. Use the bubble indicator to ensure the gauge is level.
  3. Place the leading edge of the gauge against a flat vertical surface (such as a doorway or wall edge).
  4. Ensure the gauge makes contact with the wall before the handlebars do. If any part of the handlebars touches the wall first, your reach exceeds the UCI limit.
